GetWindowText 可以幫您提取 Windows 視窗中不能複製的程式、軟體介面文字，比如說複製一下錯誤代碼，然後再去 Google。GetWindowText 美中不足的地方就是不可以複製灰色按鈕和某些下拉功能表上的文字，其他的都過得去。使用此小工具可以提取任何 Windows 視窗文字、複製程式介面文字、複製軟體介面文字。當滑鼠左鍵按住主程式中的圖示並拖曳到要提取文字的視窗。這個程式還支援讀取樹狀清單(SysTreeView32)和清單檢視(SysListView32)的全部內容。當釋放滑鼠左鍵時，便完成提取。

GetWindowText is a very small and portable program with which you can read the window text. By clicking the left mouse button on the button with GetWindowText icon and by holding down the left mouse button (drag), the read can be started. Then simply hold your mouse over the window from which the text should be read. GetWindowText supports also directory trees (SysTreeView32), combobox, and list views(SysListView32) to read the entire contents. When you release the mouse button, the reading will be finished.
