Aston Martin 繼 2018 年與 James Bond 系列電影的製片公司 EON Productions、共同推出 28 輛 (25 輛出售、剩下 3 輛由原廠收藏與慈善拍賣) 以電影《金手指 (Goldfinger)》中出現的 DB5 為藍圖之 DB5 Goldfinger Continuation 限量特式車後，又在日前宣布，將在歐洲時間 2024 年的 10 月 14 日推出 DB12 Goldfinger 特式車，紀念《金手指 (Goldfinger)》上映 60 年。

DB5 是 James Bond 系列電影最具代表性的車款，不僅在 1964 年便參與了《金手指》的演出，也在 1995 年《黃金眼(GoldenEye)》、1997 年《明日帝國》、2006 年《黃家夜總會 (Casino Royale)》等電影中亮相。

儘管在預告短片中，Aston Martin 只有在短暫的釋出這款以 DB12 為基礎所開發之新車的側面剪影，並留下《金手指 (Goldfinger)》電影中 Q 的一句台詞：“I never joke about my work, 007.”；但一般認為，這輛預料將融入不少《金手指 (Goldfinger)》電影元素的特式車，應該也會循 DB5 Goldfinger Continuation 限量特式車推出的規劃量產，且數量不少於 25 輛。

至於性能表現方面則是維持 DB12 現有的設定，透過來自 Mercedes-AMG 的 4.0 升 V8 雙渦輪增壓汽油引擎，提供 680 匹 (PS) 的最大馬力與 81.6 公斤米最大扭力，並搭配 8 速手自排變速箱與後輪驅動布局；不過，實際的規劃，恐怕還是得等到今天晚上才能明瞭。
