【故事概要】：中學聯賽三連霸的籃球強豪「帝光中學」，部員數超過百人，其中更有著被譽為「奇跡的世代」的五位天才籃球選手，以及一個被忽視的人－－夢幻的第六人！
本作敘述的便是「夢幻的第六人」黑子哲也以及遠從美國歸來的天才籃球選手火神大我的故事。火神立志打敗「奇跡的世代」並成為日本第一的籃球選手，而黑子也決定幫助他。兩人一起正式加入籃球社後，面臨的第一場友誼賽的對手便是黑子在帝光時的隊友、奇跡的世代的其中一人！
