《暗黑破壞神IV》和前作同樣是款動作角色扮演遊戲，在遊戲模式及玩法上保持不變，玩家需要在隨機產生的動態開放世界裡擊殺惡魔並生存下去，獲取經驗，提升等級，解鎖技能與符文，及獲取隨機戰利品強化角色。 《暗黑破壞神IV》的故事時間為《暗黑破壞神III》的50年後，玩家可以自由選擇遊玩每個區域的順序，在開放世界中體驗旅途。

【下載/安裝教學】：How To Play: (來源自Repack網站)
1. Register in the D4 Reflection site -> Download the Launcher and
install it (https://d4reflection.org/download)
2. Start the Launcher
3. Click Diablo IV and Download
4. Wait 1/2 minutes and close the Launcher
5. Go to the destination where Diablo IV was downloading, the folder
should be named like this "D4R_ENRU"
6. Move the files you just downloaded "D4R_ENRU" to that
folder we saw earlier "D4R_ENRU" (Copy and replace when requsted)
7. Reopen the Launcher and on Diablo IV there should be a "Play" button
8. Start the game and enter the account you created on D4 Reflection. Have fun.
